The short version: 01Lingu does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. Your voice recordings, learning progress, and vocabulary history stay on your device. We have no servers receiving your data because the app is built so that it does not send any.

What data we collect
We collect nothing. 01Lingu does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information, usage data, analytics, crash reports, or any other data with us or any third party.
Specifically, we do not collect:
- Your name, email address, or any account information (no account is required)
- Your voice recordings or pronunciation data
- Your learning progress, vocabulary history, or session data
- Your device identifiers, IP address, or location
- Usage statistics or feature interaction data
- Crash reports or diagnostic data sent to our servers
How the app works technically
01Lingu runs an AI language model directly on your iPhone using Apple Silicon. All inference — every correction, every lesson response — happens on your device. Your voice is processed locally; no audio is transmitted to any server.
Your learning profile — vocabulary gaps, grammar weaknesses, streak data — is stored entirely in your device's local app storage and never leaves your device.
Model download
When you first set up 01Lingu, the app downloads AI model files from a public model repository. This is a one-time transfer of model weight files (~1–2 GB). No personal information is sent during this download. After the model is downloaded, the app operates entirely offline.
Third-party services
01Lingu does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection SDKs. We do not use Firebase, Mixpanel, Segment, Facebook SDK, Google Analytics, or any equivalent service.
Children's privacy
01Lingu is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
Your data, your control
Because all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it at all times:
- Reset learning progress — Settings → Reset all progress
- Delete everything — Delete the app from your iPhone. All data is removed instantly.
Changes to this policy
If we make changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Because we collect no data, any changes would only reflect clarifications or changes in how the app itself works technically.
